Remembering our dear friend and former boss Mark Leslie with love and gratitude. We are thinking of Luke, Leah, the extended Leslie family and Mark's many friends.

Recalling his father’s wisdom, he said that after eighty years of life, the greatest lesson was humility: that the universe is “far more complex, far weirder than anything that science or religion can explain… whatever is, is.”

 

Mark distrusted certainty, was endlessly curious, and delighted in bringing together ideas that most people kept apart. He believed that a good life required balance: rational thought, creative imagination, and a sense of wonder. It was how he lived, how he worked, and how he inspired those around him.

 

May we all meet the world with the same humility, imagination, and generosity that he did!
